Ciesal researcher hired as Learning and Support Officer at Cochrane

CIESAL researcher Jana Stojanova was selected in an open application process to fill a part-time position at Cochrane in the UK, working remotely from Chile.

Our researcher undertook the Learning and Support Officer role at the start of 2020. The position involves fulfilling the induction, training and support needs of the Cochrane staff community. Cochrane’s staff comprises over a thousand people in Editorial, Geographical and Thematic Groups. Her role is to ensure that these people, regardless of their employer, identify as part of the community, and to provide them with access to the support they need to carry out their work.

Jana is joining the Cochrane learning team, which has been offering various learning modalities for more than five years, including face-to-face training and online courses through their web platform. Several of these courses are available in Spanish.
