Shrikant I. Bangdiwala has a Master’s degree in Biostatistics and a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. He is the Director of Statistics at the Population Health Research Institute and a Professor at the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact, Faculty of Health Sciences, McMaster University. Dr. Bangdiwala is a mathematician and a statistician. He has extensive experience in the design, execution and analysis of multicentre observational and experimental studies, as well as vast teaching experience. Dr Bangdiwala has collaborated with the Universidad de Valparaíso for more than 20 years and has worked as a Visiting Professor there since 2003. He has participated in several collaborations with Researchers at CIESAL, in Cochrane reviews and in other collaborative projects.
