Marjorie Borgeat graduated as a dental surgeon from the Universidad de Valparaíso. She works as a Primary Health Care Dentist and Associate Professor at the School of Dentistry at the Universidad de Valparaíso. She has a diploma in University Teaching from the Universidad de Valparaíso as well as a Master’s Degree in Bioethics from the Universidad de Chile and is currently a Doctoral student in Dental Sciences at the Universidad de Chile. Her fields of interest and development are ethics in research with human participants and social epidemiology. She is an associate researcher at CIESAL and a full member of the Scientific Ethics Committee of the Universidad de Valparaíso.
