Nicolás Meza is a graduated general practitioner MD from the Universidad de Valparaíso (Chile) and an Assistant Associate Professor at the Department of Public Health. Currently, he works at the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases at the Medical School of the the Universidad de Valparaíso (Chile).

 

During his career, he has led different evidence-synthesis projects to inform health-decision making in both local and international settings.

 

Currently, he is exploring the biostatistical properties of both composite time-to-event and continuous outcomes to measure health-related phenomena—as a PhD student at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is also student in the MSc program of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at the UOC and UB (Spain).

 

Nicolás is Associate Editor of the BMJ Evidence-Based Medicine.
